Grid to Go terms of use

These terms apply to Grid to Go ("the app"), provided by Turmeriq Labs LLP, India ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them.
The service
Grid to Go reads a photo of a crossword using an AI service and turns it into a puzzle you can solve on your phone. Reading photos is done automatically and can make mistakes; you can correct the grid and clues in the app, or report a problem.
Who can use Grid to Go
You must be 18 or older to use Grid to Go.
Your account
The app creates an account for you automatically; you don't need to sign in. You're responsible for activity on your account. Offers such as free scans are limited to one per person.
Your account, unused scans and saved crosswords are kept with the app on your phone. If you change phones or uninstall the app, you may lose them, and we can't always restore them.
Scans, offers and purchases
- Reading a crossword uses one scan from your balance. Solving puzzles you've already scanned is free.
- Free scans may be offered to new users, for example to early users for a limited time. We may change or end offers for new users at any time; scans already in your balance are not affected.
- Scans you buy don't expire and can't be exchanged for cash or transferred.
- If a scan goes wrong, you can report it and we may return it to your balance.
- Payments and refunds of purchases are handled by Google Play or Apple under their terms. Where a purchase is refunded, unused scans from it are removed.
Puzzles you scan
Crosswords belong to their publishers and authors. Scan only puzzles you have legitimately obtained, for your own personal use. Don't use the app to copy, share or republish puzzles.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempts to abuse free offers (for example with multiple accounts), interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it, or upload unlawful content.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Grid to Go running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update the app and these terms; we'll tell you about significant changes in the app.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [CITY] have jurisdiction.
